American Disabilities Foundation Given Boat By Whaly Boats USA For Give-away Raffle At The Palm Beach International Boat Show

The Annual Boating & Beach Bash for People with Disabilities – the nation’s largest, free, one-day event for people with disabilities, both seen, and unseen, is granted a 7’ model 210 boat from Whaly Boats USA, sold by Nautical Ventures in Fort Lauderdale, to use as raffle gift at the Palm Beach International Boat Show in West Palm Beach that took place earlier this year in late March.

We were honored and pleased to be hosted by the Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach County and to have a presence and booth at the 41st annual international boat show and to showcase a Whaly boat sold locally by Nautical Ventures that has a retail value of $1,950.00 as part of a raffle opportunity for all in attendance at this year’s show.

The winner could keep the boat or use it as a credit toward the purchase of a larger boat. Of the many entrants in the raffle, this year’s winner was extremely happy to receive the boat as a raffle prize. This event served to make more boat show attendees aware of the annual Bash event for the disabled community in south, Florida.

The Bash has welcomed guests from as far away as California, Arizona, Michigan, Maine, and New York.

Designed as a Spring Break event for people with disabilities, along with their family members and supportive caregivers. The Bash has welcomed guests from as far away as California, Arizona, Michigan, Maine, and New York. It is the only event of its kind, offering complimentary, scheduled boat rides, special access to the beach and ocean with Mobi Mats and floating wheelchairs, a Kids’ Fun Zone, Therapy workshops led by trained specialists, wheelchair yoga, a live concert, costumed superheroes and cartoon characters, therapy dogs and miniature ponies, a ‘choice’ lunch, and more.

The Beach Bash is held each year at Spanish River Park in South Palm Beach County in the City of Boca Raton on the water and provides access to those with disabilities and their caregivers. This event attracts crowds of nearly 5,000 attendees at its peak in March 2020. The Bash is the signature event of the nonprofit the American Disabilities Foundation and next year’s Bash event will be bigger and bolder than ever according to Dr. Christopher Noe, Board President, American Disabilities Foundation.
